Washington Weekend is an annual gathering of family and friends with a history of celebrating our unity and diversity in Jesus. Together, people from different generations, ethnicities, cultures and vocations will come together to learn about and encounter the person of Jesus through story, community, and worship. Washington Weekend is held at “The Canyon” at Washington Family Ranch, a remarkable Young Life resort in central Oregon. Click here to learn more about “The Canyon” at Washington Family Ranch!
This weekend is open to any and all. We encourage you to invite whoever you want to be there with you.
What can I expect at Washington Weekend?
Hundreds of passionate followers of Jesus from all around WA state and beyond.
New friendships centered in Jesus that transcend race, age, and culture.
Top-notch camp amenities at “The Canyon” at Washington Family Ranch. The work crew at The Canyon will graciously provide us with all meals (Friday evening through Monday morning), as well as bed linens and towels.
Scriptural and story-based teaching that will challenge and inspire you to greater heights (see: weekend schedule). Our speaker, Jamie Winship, has worked in several jihadist areas over the last 20 years. He has held teaching positions at universities in Palestine, Jordan, Iraq, West Java, and North Carolina. Jamie’s personal experience of listening for God’s voice in his daily life and in pivotal moments, combined with his scriptural insight, make him a dynamic, informative, and entertaining communicator.
